Our precious, pure Wild Rose grows in the Balkan Botanic Garden of Kroussia in northern Greece. The Garden hosts many rare and endemic plant species -it is literally a museum of plants. Dedicated to preserving and promoting our homelandās biodiversity paradise, this is an initiative by the Institute of Plant Breeding and Genetic Resources of the Hellenic Agricultural Organization āDIMITRAā. The Garden's team was the first to sustainably cultivate Wild Rose, researching and adopting optimum cultivation methods to reach maximum yield' quality and quantity.
