Farmed organically by locals who carry out the century-old tradition to this day, Krocus blossoms only once a year, every October, for barely two weeks, creating a purple carpet effect as far as the eye can see. Our partnership with the Cooperative of Saffron Producers of Kozani supports the local economy and hundreds of families from those 20 surrounding villages who depend on income from the annual Saffron harvest.
